Limits people hit
- Link could not pay a restaurant deposit in euros, or a UK merchant in pounds.
- Some merchants accept only Venmo or cash.
- The NYC parking portal refuses virtual cards. 3-D Secure does not start.
How to do it
- Accept virtual cards and wallet payments. Do not refuse a card because its BIN is a virtual issuer.
- Offer guest checkout. An agent with a virtual card and an email address should not need an account.
